About Ariaera
Elven Ariaera, also known as Stephanie E. Cusumano, has always known she was meant to create. It is her deepest passion and constant joy in her life. Everything in her shop is handmade; even the digital artwork was originally mere sketches before being translated into the medium. She pours love and passion into everything she makes and she hopes to bring joy to others with her work, whether it be her drawings or writing.
Since high school Stephanie has known she wanted to pursue the arts. She began selling Pokémon fleece hats in high school to make a little extra money, and eventually, that turned into her first online business in 2015. She continually added more to the shop; art prints, stickers, wood crafts, magazine mosaics, and much more.
A lot of Stephanie’s art reflects her love of geek culture, including fan art of video games and movies among others. She has a long history with Nintendo and PlayStation in terms of gaming. While High Fantasy is her genre of preference, she indulges in movies across the spectrum; Lord of the Rings, Disney, Harry Potter, and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory among many, many others. Similarly with television, whether it’s sitcoms like Friends, dramas like Downton Abbey, or cartoons like Avatar: the Last Airbender, she has a great appreciation for storytelling crafts, which has led her to create her own.
In 2021, Stephanie self-published her first book, Vagabond. Learning from this experience, she continues to grow and achieve her dream of bringing her High Fantasy series, The Ballad of Zayon, to life. She hopes that one day she will be able to fully focus on her original works and inspire others the way her favorite media had inspired her.
