Vagabond was not supposed to get a sequel. It was supposed to be a single book, one and done, then I move on to my main series. But now I am, in fact, writing a sequel. Why would I take all the time and effort into writing a second book? To put it simply, I realized I wasn’t finished once I reached the end of the first book.

It doesn’t take much for me to think up an idea for a new story— it’s my favorite thing to do. I am in a constant state of daydreaming. One thought becomes another, and before you know it, I have a whole story played out in my mind. Sometimes it doesn’t even stem from the fictional worlds I’ve created, but silly passing thoughts that I least expect it.

Diving is something I have always dreamed of doing, but never quite worked up the courage to try just yet. However, that doesn’t stop our curiosity from running wild, eager to learn more about marine life and longing for that adventure. Video games have made this possible.

I’m sure most of us had a crush on a fictional character when we were kids, and for me, Link was my prince charming. That’s how it all started, but little did I know that a silly little crush would come to play such a huge part of my creative journey.
